Standard Jaguar Diff versus "Dana" Style Differential
There are several visual differences between the standard Jaguar XJ-S
differential and the "Dana" style diff which was primarily used in the XJ-S
during the 1985 model year, although some European Jaguars also used this unit. The
pictures below will help you determine if you have a "Dana" differential.
